Just starting the patch job, (first take sheet metal repair for me) I'll take some pics. Watching boat's video helped alot.

I bought a Hobart handler 140 and I am happy with it. The passenger side fender closing panel was missing so the whole bottom of the door was rusted.
There was no door bottom left for a reference so I had to hang the door, get all the top and side clearances set, then measure 12 inches up from the rocker panel and add 1/4" for the bottom gap to find where the door bottom should be. There was also some repair needed to the hinge side of the door.

Some rust holes around the door check, Easy to fill with a copper bar backing and got easier as I learned at what not to do.

This would of been a good candidate for a donor door so I thought I had nothing to lose. My drivers door had only the corners to replace and it was much easier as you maintain all the original door lines, only do this if you need the practice.

The inner door panel lines up everywhere except the corners where you need it. just get out the door skin hammer and massage it as needed.

The hinge side inner door panel was the same way and I had to work it a little. I went to fast welding the door skin on and ended up with a bump along the weld. Not to noticeable but I know its there. It was hard to fold over the door skin with a body hammer, then I found out you can run a DA gently down the edge to make it fold easier.

Painting and hanging. Gaps came out close and since its white you won't see warp on the door skin. Overall it was fun welding and the more you do it the better you get.

Nice Job. The black interior and white look great together. I've wondered what the stepside would look like with the Fleetside trim on the cab. Now I know.
