Cool Need Help: Air Ride Suspension

Hey I'm pretty new to the forum and this is my first post...so first I just wanna say whats up to everyone and I'm happy to have found such a cool place with very knowledgable members. Second: I have an 83 C10 2wd shortbed street project I have going on and I've researched air ride suspension for it because I'm real fascinated with all the possibilities of air ride and the actual look is awesome...I just wanted to know in your guys opinion what the best way to approach this was? I'm doing a frame off btw and would like to put the suspension on while the frame is sitting there...im also going to be boxing the frame because it's going to see some horsepower n if it's possible, why not? I'm getting the box set from www.diy4x.com site seems pretty cool. Let me know what you think so I got an idea of what im doing. Thanks.

Air ride depends on your budget your wheel size and do you want it to lay frame or not?A good air ride system that won't lay frame your looking about 3 grand up if you want it to lay frame probably 6k to 8k.

Re: Need Help: Air Ride Suspension

I pretty much want a nice ride that could be driven without any extreme modifications...I'm not looking to slam the body, I want a stock bed appearance (flat). I don't have 3k on tap but that is def possible within a reasonable amount of time. Would it be better to buy it all at once? Or is it possible for budget reasons and in the spirit of getting stuff done a little at a time every weekend to buy things seperate...even though itll prob cost more in the long run? Cuz I know no matter what you wanna do it really just comes down to money in the end...I just wanna know the right way to go about it.
