tried searching but couldn't find an exact answer. easy question!
What bulbs are used in the 1960-66 Chevy C10 gauges, a bulb blew out tonight while driving and half the cluster went dark in my '66 C10.
are they # 57 bulbs?? |

Here's my gauge cluster from my 66 GMC. These bulbs don't have a number on them, but they look more like the little bulbs you'd use for a cars fender marker, except there's no harness, just contacts on the back of the panel.

Per the specifications table in the 1960 Chevy Truck Shop Manual the instrument cluster lamp is indeed a #57, rated at 2 candlepower. The high beam indicator lamp is a #53 rated at 1 candlepower.
