Alternator Switch sides for Vintage Air?

I am going to order a Vintage Air Gen IV kit for my 63. My 350 currently has the alternator on the passenger side so the compressor would go on the drivers side. You can order the kit for the alternator on either side but typically see the alternator on drivers side and compressor on passenger side?

Yes you can...however running the hoses from a sure fit will look bad IMO....just spend a couple bucks and mount the alternator on drivers side,,,,
