Exhaust questions
Ive been restoring my 67 c10. I got a rebuilt 350 bored to about 390 or so. I have ceramic coated hooker headers on their. Theyre the long style that end at about the middle of the trans. So now its time to think about the exhaust
I want flowmaster mufflers and true dual. Any recommendations on where to start or where to buy from!?!? ive seen kits from LMC Truck but am not sure what route to take...... Any advice would help out alot

Re: Exhaust questions
do you have a good muffler shop in your area, if so ask them to give you a price on a set of custom pipes for the truck...and you can supply the mufflers you want...

Re: Exhaust questions
I do. But i probably need to bring the truck in for that. I dont have a good means at the moment to get it there. None of the body panels are on, just the rad support.

Re: Exhaust questions
Get flowmaster shorty headers for a 69 Camaro and a couple flowmaster 40 mufflers. Take it to an exhaust shop and get them to install it all. If your truck isnt lowered, then you can get long tube headers that sound better but hand below the frame. Headers are of course optional, but sure make it sound good.

Re: Exhaust questions
Take it to a muffler shop, then they can custom bend to fit the pipe, so it looks good and does not hang down too low. Get some flowmasters(like square78 said) and shorty headers, I ran 3" pipe and had it dumped just ahead of the rear axel. I have a 4/6 drop and you can not see any pipe hanging below the frame.
