Re: Battery relocation options
If you run a sealed battery you can put it just about anywhere you got room.If you have a single gas tank or removed the factory tanks for a rear tank you got a lot of frame rail to use.

Re: Battery relocation options
With some long thick gauged wire, you can put it anywhere.
In my dodge i had a second battery that kept my accessories, horns, and compressors from draining the main located in my toolbox that was mounted in the bed. Took me and afternoon to do. Used some #2 wire, and for the positive, and #0 from ground to frame. Worked out great.

Re: Battery relocation options
A drop down battery box would be an easy way to move your battery and still have easy access to it if need be.

I would like to see a picture of your truck I love yellow and orange on our trucks How does the drop down box work ? Looks like you need plenty of slack on the cable because the terminal may be difficult to remove with the box in the upper position |

wraprail
Just curious why would you prefer the disconnect on the negative it should make any difference the circuit is broken either way. Good thought on the ford solenoid |

Re: Battery relocation options
Ground was there and easy and worked out good. I don't have easy access to battery with bed on so the disconnect is just for service ect.
