Re: Cragars ?
Closing on 15 years ago I guess. I pretty much hated the orange truck and have never regretted selling it. I wanted to build a blue and white 72 Super Cheyenne clone but let my wife talk me into an orange slant nose truck. If I'd have built it the way I wanted I'd probably still own it.

Re: Cragars ?
Although I'm strictly a steel wheels guy, Cragers look timeless on anything!
This is my next door neighbor's 67 shortbed stepside:

Re: Cragars ?
The problem with Cragar S/S wheels is the quality. They're just poor quality. The chrome is weak, and the multi material bonded together construction or whatever they call it always rears its head when the wheels get old.

Re: Cragars ?
I love the way Cragars look. I'm only 37 but I remember in the early 80's how everyone had them. Theres still a lot people with them here.

Classic mag style though that looks good on just about everything.

Re: Cragars ?
These early mag styles hung in for decades compared to the flavor of the week wheels we have now. I always liked the Cragar S/Ss but only ran them on one car. I learned to stay away from the mixed metal wheels. Keystone Klassics,Rocket Gemini 500s,Western Super Spokes, and others were made that way. Now that many trucks sit in garages and pretty much only drive on nice days I wouldn't be so concerned. You could keep after them
