Mark, hope you don't have to do like me: apply for an FHA loan to purchase a pair! Of all parts for our trucks, the price of vent-windows has blown my mind about as much as any thing I easily recall. I ended up buying a fairly nice pair on Ebay--including good glass and chrome--and re-building them. Luckily, they made a very nice 'driver-quality-plus' set. Even lucked up later & sold my originals to a guy whose set was much worse than mine.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Cleaned, primered, and painted the front sway bar and mounting brackets.

Worked on repairs to my hacked up low floor tunnel cover while the parts were drying...

I hope to finish it up tomorrow.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Installed clutch master cyl and linkage, bent a line and bled. Works like a million bucks. Started on power booster, thanks to Captain Fab for the quality parts to work with.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Installed factory front sway bar (78 burb) on drop frame brackets.

With the frame being boxed and a REZ kit, I had to drill and elongate some access holes for the wrench on each of the back two frame bracket mounting bolts, but it worked out okay.

I think I'll get fresh bushings since these had quite a few cracks show up after everything was all tightened up.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Painted the bellhousing and moved the rear end up on a big wooden box to finish cleaning and painting it.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

I disassembled and painted my deluxe heater switch setup. I just dremeled the rivet heads off an painted it then drilled and tapped for a 4-40 machine screw right where the rivets were. Be careful not to drill through now! Really easy. I can't seem to add a photo from my phone as i don't know how. I will add it later from my computer.
