Power Steering Pump Brackets for 400 block with no mounting holes..
I actually own a 67 Chevelle, but am swapping in a 400ci small block with no power steering pump mounting holes in the block. I'm also using a PRW long water pump.
I've seen some later Chevy trucks with an arrangement where the brackets connect to the water pump and back to the exhaust manifold... Although I have full length headers and I'm not sure that setup would work or not. I have a March bracket kit for a P type pump but the assembly isn't going together as I'd like and I was hoping to utilize more of a stock looking setup. Any ideas what to look for??? If I can't find a solution my fallback plan is to go with a type II pump mounted on the head..not my first choice but I'm pretty sure that would work with very little issues.... |

Not related to your question... but I see you're from Orting.
That's my hometown. I was just there visiting my parents last weekend. Gary
