Re: door window channel

I've never had a problem with the local glass shops being able to get it for me in bulk lengths.

Do you have the stock 51 doors with the vent wings or do you have early doors with one piece windows with the metal channel around the glass? They do take completely different window channel.

Number 8 on this page http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/ca/full.aspx?Page=15 should be almost everything a guys needs to do a stock 51 door glass.

Or from the Brothers truck site. http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=WCS0055

Re: door window channel

58' Chevy pickup. I am going to use Soffseal door and window rubber seal.
Eliminating vent window, converting to one piece door glass.
Soffseal rep advised to use 8' universal window channel 9/16" high by 5/8" wide,
part#SRC073. Has anyone used this channel? Would this be correct fit?
If not, any recommendations for window channel supplier.

Re: door window channel

You probably should have started a new thread on it Dansa2 as this thread was a year old on the last post. Some of the Task Force guys don't check AD truck related posts too close and vise versa to a point.

A local full service automotive glass shop should have bulk channel that will work on it with the frameless glass just fine.
