best plug wires to clear tbss headers
I have serious problems with straight end plug wires and my pacesetter headers. What type of plug end do you guys think would work best. Affordable link?

A few of mine were like that with my pace setters, I kept the plug wires and wrapped the few with some exhaust blanket, lasted 80k. I would also advise using the stock shields around the lower plug wire boots.

I just used those headers on a swap for a friend and had to end up using msd adjustable (flexable) end wires.

OK I found the cut-to-length wires but I also found the ls1 specific wires. Do you happen to have any pics of the install. I'm skeptical as I have read mixed reviews of the multi-angle ends. Also: truck wire set are 12" and car sets are 8" which did you guys use?

I got these from street and performance. They were around a $100 for the set.

the headers are also from street and performance. Custom built, and you don't have to mod the frame for clearance.

Looking for an opinion here. I ordered the 32813 MSD wires. These are the multi-angle ends with black wires. I'm also gonna but some of the plug wire socks on there too because the TBSS headers are just too close for comfort. You can see my color scheme above. Black intake, orange valve covers, ceramic headers, and black air filter. What color socks would you guys get? Black to blend in with the wires or silver to blend in with the ceramic headers?
Looking at the ones from Performance Plus Connection. $28 shipped for 8 socks is hard to beat. Just would like weigh in on the color. Trivial I know, but still... http://www.performanceplusconnection.com/ |
