I Hate the term rat rod because this is not a cheap built piece of crap... That said it started as a 39 Chevy truck I have been working on this for a customer . I built the lake headers , box, cab floor , wiring and it's almost done... Yes fellas that is a 500 in. caddy ... We dig a few burnouts with it last night it's quite the ride.. it has a vette rear and a speedway motors front with disc brakes on all corners this machine is well built and built to drive... Enjoy the pictures...

I hope I talked them out of it . When you sit in it it's perfect comfortable and line of sight is spot on . you could ride in it all day and with the independent rear it rides nice. if the top gets chopped the seat will have to be lowered and your knees will be in your face . I will do it if that's what they want it's not mine but it will ruin it I think . I like the looks of it as is ..

I personally have around 150 hours in this and it's no ratty piece of s**t not really my style but they have money so I was in ... this beast has about 13 grand in it . it not cheap to build a quality rod even if it looks beat and rusty...

I bought the mega phones and built the rest so yes I welded them up . not many options for 500 caddy lake headers
