radiator
i called a local radiator shop and asked for a quality direct replacement radiator for a big block that will bolt right in.we agreed on a aluminum Northern brand,i tried to install it but it is too thick and the note from Northern says it will need custom fabricated brackets.so were can i get a quality radiator that bolts in? i don't want to deal with custom brackets.thanks 72 c10 2wd 509 cu in

Re: radiator
I have a Be-Cool 4 core and all i had to do is use the stock 4 core mounts and notch a little off the support to make it fit. very simple

Re: radiator
vidman, your mounts are mounted to the left and right tanks on top right? on my Northern there is no way for a mount to go on the side with the filler neck [top],also are there different size mounts for these trucks,3 row 4 row?

Re: radiator
Merlin, I put a 4 core in my 67 that had a 2 core in it. LMC had the correct brackets and bushings and a replacement shroud too. I purchased the radiator from a local parts house and everything bolted right in. The unfortunate thing is, to replace the bottom brackets, I had to remove the core support as my frame was directly below the brackets IIRC they are riveted to the support.

Re: radiator
I had a 4 core in mine from the factory. I got an aluminum 2 core (with 4 core tanks) off of ebay for about 125 bones. Fit perfect.
