350 build questions
Trying to decide on my 84 swb's powerplant. Orginally a 305 automatic.... Had intentions of a 5.3 with a turbo......but looking to be quick out the hole..... This will be a weekend cruiser and show truck, hopefully. I think im looking to throw a big cam in a 350. Vortec heads, stronger pushrods. And would like to spray atleast a 100 shot to it. Also have a guy that can build a bullet proof tranny..... Any suggestions to what I should do... Just learning all this truck stuff, spend all my time working on 2 wheels

A big cam in a 350 will be a dog for our trucks. If you can afford the 5.3 turbo build do it. I was looking at the wrenchrat twin turbo kit which starts at around 5K if I remember correctly. They will size the turbo's out for what you intend to do without needing spray or even a big cam.
