60-66 The Forgotten Generation ?
I am 100% happy with out purchase of a 60-66 C10 truck.
Just been looking at LMC online, to see the price of a full set of side trim or molding as its known. Then looked at other bits and again realized that even on a sign for "Chevy Trucks" the 60-66 truck did not feature. I have also been looking for models of these trucks and they are not as common as the pre and post 60-66 models. Am I mistaken, or are these the Cinderella trucks from GM?

I've never heard that term either Vernski but wasn't Cinderella the outcast step-sister that was actually the prettiest one of all
It does seem to me that you see less of the 60-66 than the earlier or later trucks. |

Re: 60-66 The Forgotten Generation ?
Rian,
There are quite a few models. I have two different 60's, a 64' LWB and a 65' stepside. I think they are all AMT. Here is a shot they are kinda of in the middle of the shot and the other 60' which is a custom is on the 2nd to bottom. Here is the 65' I built for my father in law before he passed. I have a couple of 60' Hot wheels too. Bret

Re: 60-66 The Forgotten Generation ?
Thanks for the replies guys.
Maybe its me thats still new to them and being in the UK does not help. I do have a couple of Hotwheels Stepside trucks from a recent "surfer" edition. And Vernski, I guess calling our truck a Cinderella is a bit deceptive as it is no girl...... Posted via Mobile Device
