Fuel rails question
I'm going to buy a set of fuel rails for my 6.2/Magnacharger and was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on the following fuel rails:
Aeromotive: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aei-14115 Holley: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hly-534-209 The Holley ones are a $100 cheaper and I really like the black, but I want to make sure they will not hinder the performance of the 6.2 with the Magnacharger. Thanks in advance.

Re: Fuel rails question
You linked to the same rails, for both web links.
What fuel supply line are you running to the rails? I run those Aeromotives, with a -10 to the engine bay, where it splits to dual -8 lines into the back of the rails. Works well for me. For the most part, fuel rails are fuel rails....they're pretty much all the same with the exception of the mounting provisions, and inlet/outlet size. Also, what injectors are those? Are they stock length (really short) for the 6.2, or are they longer LS2 or LS1 style? That will determine which rails you get, since the mounting is different.

OOPPS!! Fixed it. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hly-534-209 I am running a 10 AN supply to a y-block, with two - 8 AN lines to the back of the fuel rails, crossover and FPR (what's the part number for yours??) and then an 8 AN return (pretty much like your setup, ). Good question on the injectors. They came with the supercharger and are supposed to fit the stock rails of a 07 Denali. Here's a picture:

Re: Fuel rails question
I'm running the Aeromotive 13109 regulator, which is dual -6 in from the rails, single -6 out for the return.
Those Holley rails should work nice if you swap out the -6 fittings for -8 fittings, at least on the inlet side. The internal diameter of the rail is 1/2", which is the same size as a -8.

Re: Fuel rails question
Here is the fuel Y I used.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRA-900611-RD The regulator you posted should work fine. The fittings will probably be more expensive, to reduce down from -10 to -6 or -8, but other than that, it should work fine.

Re: Fuel rails question
fwiw the injectors pictured appear to be the taller style EV1/EV6, not the typical MultecII shorty truck injectors.

I used this fitting to connect my regulator directly to the outlet of the Driver Side fuel rail. You may or may not have that option depending on blower clearance. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aei-15681

Re: Fuel rails question
OK, so I got the Holley fuels rails (they are really nice!) but they won't work with the injectors that I have. I need some EV6 injectors that are about 1/2-5/8" taller...... Any suggestions?
EDIT: I wonder if these will work?? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/tfs-89960

Re: Fuel rails question
I'm confused, the pink injectors didn't look like the Multec's that I had on the truck before switching, they were much fatter....but you say they are shorter than the ev6?
FIC injectors would often be my choice if going aftermarket.

Re: Fuel rails question
thats a big added cost. can you just mount the rails lower by modifying the mounting points height or something?

Re: Fuel rails question
60s are the bare minimum for that setup. Do you ever plan to run E85? If so, step up to a set of 80s.

Re: Fuel rails question
FIC is Fuel Injector Connection, and I've dealt with them before when finding flowed injectors for imports used to be hard.
Example, here are some Siemens 60lb's for 399.99 http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/sh...p?productid=20 on the same page they have 72lb's for the same price. Plus they are flow matched. Those racetronix don't look bad tho either Wasted.

http://www.racetronix.com/images/injectors/L107.pdf I had to move the FPR to the passengers side and to the rear. So I'll be running both supply lines up the front. That actually works a little better with the way my lines were laid out before. Did you use a 6 AN line to connect the one side to the FPR or did you stick with 8 AN like the rear? Quote:
