Did you go with a 1" or 1 1/8" bore CPP master cylinder ? And how did you determine what bore size to go with ?

Cheers,
Ed.

Where did you purchase the round air vents. I like them but I may be doing mine a little different since I want to put a navigation unit in the middle section.
Here is a pic of a 65 dash in paint with square vents the places I am considering putting my vent. GREAT JOB!!

Re: 65 short fleet build

Just an update, I've been busy running go karts nearly every weekend so the truck was on the back burner, she is bout done, I first put eyes on this model when I was 5 years old, (1970) my mother drove a school bus and the old man that ran the shop had a 65 short fleet, I have wanted one every since.

Thanks for all the input, and for all the great builds and tech info available from the board members that made this build possible

Here are a few more pics, I will update as I install the glass, side trim and bed wood

meant to post this thread in the build section......

Re: 65 short fleet build

You may have mentioned it earlier but is that a Dakota Digital dash? The color and gauge combo is exactly what I'm looking for. Can you give me the details of what you ordered?

Thanks!

Scott

I don't recall the part number, I did pull it off the Dakota Digital web site, then ordered thru Summit, it is greatness, very thin, and just a cat5 cable out the back, it comes with the sensors etc, even a speed sensor for the tranny which you can program, comes with easy to use instructions
