Re: Paying it forward!!!!
Just wanted to give a big shout out to XPICKUP who generously hooked me up with some drop spindles for my AD-S10 project. I can't thank him enough. Just another examples of the great members on this forum willing to go the extra mile to help out a fellow truck enthusiast. Now I have got to get them installed!! I'll be having some foot surgery in the next couple weeks and I'll be laid up for about 6-8 weeks after that, but these spindles definitely put me closer to getting this thing put back together, I'll be chomping at the bit to get back on it in the weeks to come.
Thanks Again XPICKUP!

Re: Paying it forward!!!!
I like this idea a lot so I will go through my stuff when I am home next weekend to see what else I have.
Also I might put together a spreadsheet (if it is okay) with the mods to make it easier for people to see what we have available?

No problem Bartman. I knew you could use them. Good luck on your surgery.

Please read the rules. If you're looking for a part, become a supporting member of the forum and post a WTB. This is a post for people who have parts left over that they're generously willing to give to other members. It's not a post for members to beg for free parts.

Re: Paying it forward!!!!
Not my intention to get this thread removed. Became a paid member today. WTF is WTB? I will also post a list of items up for grab. I can also help out with the forum from a technical perspective if need be? I have 20+ years in the software industry with access to many resources.
BTW - is it time to split out the forum to AD and TF?

Re: Paying it forward!!!!
Original 2bbl intake manifold from '58 283. Casting no 3746826 dated Feb 24, 1958 (B248). Manifold was cleaned up including removing heat shield on bottom to clean out carbon. This was done in '92 when I put my truck on the road, but the manifold was removed shortly after to go EFI. Does not include wire type distributor hold down.
2bbl Rochester carburetor number 7029105. Original application 1969 C10. Used with manifold above for short time. Carb was rebuilt when truck was put on the road and appears to be in good shape but may need gaskets after sitting for many years. This is a "small" or "early" 2bbl and will not work on the "large" 2bbl manifolds. You cover shipping! |

Re: Paying it forward!!!!
Ordered a dozen 2" dome disc expansion plugs and will never use them all. Let me know if anyone needs any. They go to the back and front of stove bolt engines.

Pay it Forward List Attached (Word Doc)
Created a rough list of the parts available. Just post if you still have the parts or not. I have a running Excel sheet also so I will keep it updated.
