GM Heritage reports?

Has anyone here ordered one? I know when I order the Marti reports for my 67-73 Ford/Mercury vehicles, they provide the list of installed options, paint & interior colors, drive train info, ordering dealer, assembly plant, & pretty much everything about how that vehicle left the factory. Having never ordered a GM Heritage report, what info do they typically provide in the report?

Thanks!

p.s. for those that have never seen a Marti Report, here's one from one of my Eliminators. TONS of info. Would be awesome if the GM reports were similar in content.........

Re: GM Heritage reports?

No experience with it on a truck but From reading on the Pontiac site the mid 60's guys are really into it. The pre 67 trucks usually came so plain from the factory that it might not be real interesting reading though. For the most part AD trucks were either Standard or deluxe cab and had a three or four speed trans along with no, a standard or deluxe heater and little else from the factory. Add in painted or chrome grill and painted or chrome bumper and either a stock rear bumper or no rear bumper. The trucks were shipped from the factory pretty plain and bare and the dealer and or customer decided what went on it at the dealership. Mirrors, turn signals and quite often the rear bumper were installed at the dealership along with the radio. That was where the dealer often made his profit.

77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

Re: GM Heritage reports?

My understanding from talking with GM in the mid '90s (when I got my truck and wanted as much info as I could) is that Chevrolet didn't maintain model specific information that far back. Pontiac was different so Ponchos will get a nice report with information similar to the Ford. I'd say call GM and ask directly. They might have caught on about what collectors want and found a way to put something together since I last checked.
