Hidden modifications????
I think this guy is on to something here....bumper turned into cooler. Does anyone else have any good hidden modifications on their trucks? Storage areas, hidden radios or other components..... Just interested in whats out there that is multi-purpose, disguised, or hidden...

Re: Hidden modifications????
Part of keeping something secret is not telling people
But if it helps, my gas door is hidden, my battery is hidden, trans cooler tucks behind the bumper, amp tucks into center console.

Re: Hidden modifications????
I forgot to post the pic I had.
This guy turned his rear bumper into a cooler/tool box.

Re: Hidden modifications????
Not on my truck but we were talking about this earlier today relative to my Chevelle:
* MSD box hidden inside heater box, accessed through the vehicle interior * MSD ignition timing control hidden inside center console * Push button start located where the cigarette lighter was, inside ashtray * Electric fuel pump actuated by rear window defog toggle switch * Production console shifter controls a full manual std shift pattern TH400 * bucket seats sit on aluminum channel and covered with original plastic closeouts * Doors gutted and original door trim panels re-installed * Removeable ballast attaches inside rear bumper * Aluminum cylinder heads and water pump painted orange * 12 gallon Chevette gas tank in stock location * 2 core radiator * Narrowed rear frame rails and race car 5 link rear suspension fabricated using production components are a few of the items that come to mind. Re: Hidden modifications????
hehe sweet man...almost reminds me of that old stockcar racer......the one who filled his frame with buckshot that came out while racing.....and built the 7/8 scale stock car and tried to race it.
Side note; By the way, there is a whole market of "don't talk about it" mods done to high end cars at some of these audio shops and luxury rim places. I don't even mean the sketchy hood places, I mean the places that mess with Bentleys and such. -When street kids move things place to place on the down low, its called smuggling/hustling....but when Rich folks do it, its called "personal privacy concerns" lol. Check out the documentary on BMF, these guys had brand new Scuderia's and the sort equipped with pop-out dashes and false sound deadening etc. Crazy biz.
