Supplementary filters any one?

I am wondering if anyone is using more fuel filters or oil filters than what our trucks came with.
For example, I am using a NAPA 3031 fuel filter, attached to the inner fender, between the fuel pump and the carburetor inlet. The inlet has the filter in there, too.
I have a friend who runs Austin-Healy's and he is a distributor of Oberg Filters. These are remote mounted filters that can filter fuel down to 28 micron and oil down to 60 micron.
Since there is an awful large area available on the inner fenders to mount stuff, I am thinking of installing the oil filter #6060 to start off. The engine is a fresh rebuild and I might as well protect it as best I can.

Their are remote filtering filters that Amsoil sells. It has 2 filters, 1 regular one and then the BIG filter that filters down to .09 micron or something? Its .0 something if i remember but possibly wrong.

Re: Supplementary filters any one?

I used to work at a really high end race engine shop and we used O-bergs in the oil lines on the dynos because they were easy to clean and strained everything out for easy analysis.
