Emblem Clips

I'm familiar with the speed nuts that attach to the inside of the panel you are mounting your emblem on, like these:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/oer-11501047

But what I was removing my CST emblem to get the truck painted, it had a sleeve clip, something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Chevy-...item20ba368b9d

The ebay clips are too small to fit the shafts of my emblems. Does anyone know where I can get a larger set? It would make mounting the fender emblems much easier with a set of these.

Looks like the emblem studs are 3/16". Not sure about the hole, the truck is off getting painted now. If you think you might have those clips, let me know how many you have and what you want for them.

Thanks!

Re: Emblem Clips

Studs on the custom emblem measure 1/8" (.125); and these fastners seem to fit them. Outside OD measure 3/16". I see what you mean by not using the nuts, hard access. Usually this type of fastner, the stud would not have any threads, like our emblems do, but you could file them down

LMK, if these will help you out, they were used on old english sports cars, so i would have to dig deeper if you need more....the only thing i would worry about is scratching your new paint with the push in fastner. If you use the OEM fastner you can use a small o ring in the nut, and then it wont scratch your paint as you tighten it down. Thats were the rust would start, with bare metal

Re: Emblem Clips

I ended up buying some on Ebay that I hope will work. I'll give them a try when they get here, if they don't work I might take up up on your generous offer. Thanks!

Tubular nuts. These look like what was used to secure my CST emblem to the door.
