Finally getting close 59 Fleetside
I've been helping my 17 year old son restore this truck that his grandpa gave him. Before taking on this project he knew nothing about working on cars. I've helped guide him but he has done most everything. He stripped and sanded the entire truck, stained and varnished the bedwood and this past weekend installed the new front disc brake kit. It's getting close to being ready to drive.

Big thumbs up from me. Looks real nice. Is that a red oak stain on the bed wood? Looks good with the paint color.

It's a great feeling when you can see someone put so much blood, sweat and tears into something they really want. We took it for a quick first ride yesterday sans the windshield and he had a huge grin on his face. He can't wait to get it all finished and take his grandpa for a ride.
