What To Do About Steering '50 3100
Last bit of the basic puzzle is what to do about steering.
We all know the cab is a tight on space and I'd really like to get a tilt column. But in all my reading the majority of advice is "I think a column from such and such year van might work." What WORKS? Likewise, how does one get power steering with a 235? All the kits are for V8's or otherwise cause tire rubbing on right turns. Any advice on options that have actually be done and that work would be awesome! |

Here's my main source of confusion: Some of the kits, like CPP's, come in 2 varieties. Does the one that uses the 69-87 Chevy 2wd box NOT need a pump? If not, why not?

Chevrolet van columns from 71 to 82 had the ignition key in the dash.
