Scored some freebee parts for my 73'

So I 'm sitting in my office this week and hear a guy walking the hall asking if anyone knew the owner of my 73' K10 so I waited to see if he was gonna come in my office and sure enough here he was asking me. Of course I said yes and followed with what happened, thinking I was backed in to or hit somehow by him parking. Come to find out he was the second owner of my rig when the original sold it to him 10-15 years ago. It was his neighbors rig and he bought it and drove it and tinkered with it then sold it at the local Drag Strips swap meet to the guy I bought it from. Anyways we get to talking and he verifies the all original driveline and a few other things only he'd know by having owned it. He then told me he still had the original steering wheel, 2 dog dish front 4x4 hub caps, an extra 73' grill that the only difference is it has a 454 badge and a set of support pads for the T-Case. I got all these free and offered $ and Beer and was simply told he was happy someone is still driving her.
