Van Nuys, CA built trucks?
Recently my father-in-law was reminiscing about the good 'ol days (I think 1962) working on the Corvair assembly line at the Chevrolet plant in Van Nuys CA, when he said that he absolutely remembers trucks going down the line there as well. This is news to me. I've never seen any reference to a Van Nuys built truck before. Anyone know what the deal is here? Big trucks maybe? He's full of detailed funny stories about that place, so I know he's not just nuts.

Hmmm that's odd an interesting. I've always known the Van Nuts plant to build cars like corvairs, impalas, an most of all the F-body camaros an Firebirds.
Might have been big trucks? But I doubt that. Someone has got to know. |
