Re: does anyone have link for 65 service manual

Woongeroo, I guess were getting old and don't realize the mannerisms of today's society. When I think of the hours I've spent scanning original literature, and by the way purchasing it as well, then shared my research with other members whenever I can help out.

Nice pictures of your truck jguerrero. Thank you for registering with this site. You'll find some very knowledgeable and resourceful people here, always willing to help. If anyone here can help you, I'm sure they'll jump in and provide you with a link. By the way, you need two manuals to look for service information for 1965, as the 65 manual is a small supplement and requires the Large 1963 Service Manual as a base. Best of luck in your search.

Re: does anyone have link for 65 service manual

sorry if i offended anyone by getting to the point.

65C20 every thing is apart, cab off, bed off. so far the only thing done is motor. 350 .020 over ( because i could not find standard size pistons with -5cc head and 1.565" compression distance) .020" piston to deck clearance + .020" gasket = .040 quench at 9:1 compression. piston to cylinder .0015"-.0020", main clearances .002"-.003" Camshaft 178 intake 194 exhaust .050 I have front crossmember, control arms, spindles, 5lug discs, calipers, springs, power steering box, tie rods, from 87 chevy, have matching 5lug high ratio rear axle. Next on the list is "Z" cut 12" out of frame.

I figured while everything is apart i could measure frame for square. Thats why i was looking for service manual. I was just letting other people know if they have a 87 chevy..... free manuals are out there.

Re: does anyone have link for 65 service manual

Welcome!

Some creative searching on this cite will yield you the pages from the manual you need. If I get some time I will see if I can find them as I know I have seen them here and will need them myself at some point (hopefully soon)...

Sounds like you have given sufficient thought to your motor and build! Looking forward to seeing the results!
