I need to visit this bone yard. Any restorable vehicles there?

Wow, they've got some of everything there. Did you happen to notice what kind of shape that Scout was in? It's in the background of the pic with the horned toad. Body looks pretty good from what I can see.

If you would disclose the name and location of this yard I would fly there from Maryland just to buy some of the parts I see in the pictures, not kidding ,Adam

Re: Went to the wrecking yard - part 3

I don't mind sharing the yard at all; more people buying parts helps keep them in business. Besides, I'll take all the good karma I can get!

The name is Webb and Co, 719-683-2422. Their hours are somewhat flexible but generally they are there from 1000 to 1700 - sun, mon and tues are hit and miss. Ask for Jeff. They can be hard to get by phone but keep trying. I will try to get back out there one more time before I head back overseas (I'm home on mid tour leave) and get Jeff's email address and ask if minds me sharing... but no promises.

Sorry, I did not get a good look at the scout but I remember seeing a handful of them in the yard.

There are a few complete, restorable vehicles in the lot. They have a separate fenced off section which most folks are not allowed into; that's where the green and white GMC is sitting. I've asked about them in the past but I think those vehicles have been set aside by Mr Webb (Jeff's Dad) and he generally doesn't have any interest in selling. I've never made an offer to test the waters though.

Nice yard...thanks for sharing the pics. We don't have any yards down here with more than 1-2 trucks in them.
