Re: Hickey wheels
Hard to tell on wagon wheels. The only companies easy to identify on wagon wheels are Jackman and Firestone as the spokes were really thick like 3/16 steel and welded at every spoke to the outer rim. My hickey catalogs show wagons and slots. They also show appliance wire mags which I'm trying to locate in a 6 lug. Trevor

Re: Hickey wheels
Those are much later wheels. Notice the way the centers have a roll to the seam at the rim and the holes have rounded corners? Hickey just sold wheels you could buy anywhere. Not a Hickey specific part.

Re: Hickey wheels
Sounds like a good find. I love finding parts and accessories from all those companies of the era. I used to get the magazines, order the catalogs, mail a money order, and wait for the shipment. The process took a minimum of a few weeks, generally. Now we put it in the cart and can have it within a few days...but these guys are gone! In '77 I ordered a set of 37/14.50-16.5 Armstrong Extra Tractions from Dick Cepek fully mounted and balanced on wagon wheels from what turned out to be the first batch. I think I waited 6 months! But,I was the first around here to have tires over 12-16.5 (32" back then). Desert Dynamics was another one. They sold much of the same stuff Hickey did. A lot of what Hickey sold they made.
