Moody's affliction.

My name is Moody, and -yes, I am. Not always, but I'm gettin to the point in life where my dreams and ambitions are writing checks that my body can't cash. Anyway, I'm here because I have finally got my hands on my dream truck. After lusting for 30 years on and off, and numerous 60-66 Chevy trucks and other rods and customs, I have my 1964 ( year I was born) SWB panel truck. She's a roach, she's rusty, she's ugly, but she's mine. I aint scared! I'd like to find some other truck builders in my area ( Riverside Ca) to meet and maybe get together and show off our Chevy's and possibly make new friends. I titled my intro as an affliction because playing with cars and trucks truly is a sickness, but I'm not looking for help, Just like minded souls. Thanks for reading, Moody.

C'mon in. Look around. You're among friends here.

There's a large contingent of board members in SoCal. You might check out the Regions area. Good luck and welcome aboard.

Re: Moody's affliction.

Thanks for the welcome. Here is my Project, not much to look at. I'll start a build thread when I get going. I will be running Chevrolet grill and hood. My plan is SBC with AOD trans,PDB,PS and A/C. Factory color paint with factory color off white top ,bumpers ,grill, and wheels. I want it Kinda utilitarian looking with no bling. It will be lowered, have carpet and a sound system. I need to get 3 other projects wrapped up n sold before I can jump into this one.

Re: Moody's affliction.

Welcome to the Forum.

3 others need to be sold before starting on the Panel? Whats the other 3?

Sounds like an interesting project. I'd be glad to follow along.

Thanks, I've added my horde to my signature. No cool Chevys though (I'll keep those) I may get started on strippin down my panel as time permits. I just can't buy any cool stuff for it for a while.
