1970 2wd Blazer

I jumped from the 67-72 trucks over here to the blazer side. Finished up my 72 short bed for now at least since they are never really "finished". Anyhow I just picked up a 1970 2 wheel drive Blazer with AC. My question is how many did they build with AC? I will post some pics soon.

This wont help you to much , but not many. A 70 2wd is somewhat scarce to begin with then when you factor ac im sure it drops quite a bit.

Re: 1970 2wd Blazer

Going from the Chevrolet red book they only made 985 2wd blazers in 70. I would guess maybe less than 40% had air, I have a book that lists different percentages of some options I will see if I can dig that info up.

Is your a factory 2wd or converted?

Re: 1970 2wd Blazer

Checked the book, for all 1970 model pickups including Blazer I assume the A/C option is listed at 16%

By 1972 that number doubled to 33%

They made 985 2wd Blazers in 1970. 16% of that is about 158...

For pics, use the Post Reply button and there should be a "Manage Attachements" button to add pictures...
