Grill I may buy
I may buy this grill, and paint it white. Real straight. What do you think it is worth.

Re: Grill I may buy
For reference, I picked this one up last weekend in the condition you see (sans speakers) for $50.
Untitled by wrfalcon75, on Flickr I'd offer $25 or so, see what they counter, and probably pay no more than $50 unless you realllly needed/wanted it.

Re: Grill I may buy
PullaPart pricing is around $32.00 here in East TN. I usually get around $40-45 at swap meets.

For instance, I sold this 1st grille, (picture #1) dent free but with plenty of patina rust. Headlight backing plates were included. $110. The guy couldn't come and get it fast enough. A few months later I sold a PERFECT, (pictures #2 & 3 - one on the top), rust free, dent free OEM grille without backing plates for $110. In each case, it was just what the person was looking for. Neither buyer would have been interested in the other grille. It would have been too rusty, or not rusty enough. So the price is whatever YOU think it's worth.

Re: Grill I may buy
Greg start low, you can always come up in price, then I would have it blasted and powdered coated, most powder coaters will have there own blasting equipment, take your truck with you so they can match up the color to your truck.

Re: Grill I may buy
The man at the yard said he wanted $75.00 for it. I think that is to much.

Re: Grill I may buy
Is that the yard in Denton? I thought his prices were high when I was there pricing stuff. I found a bunch of loose parts that were in bad repair, and he quoted me the same price regardless of condition.

Re: Grill I may buy
No it is a yard in Sunset, Tx. The yard north of Denton wanted $75.00 for a used door panel. I bought one in Sunset, Tx for $25.00. Sunset has better prices.
