91 Burb rear bumper on a 1980
I'd like to replace the rear bumper of my 1980 Suburban with the bumper from a late 80's early 90's one which appear to have more of a "step" tread. Will this be a straight swap? I know the fronts from these two generations are not directly replaceable - how about the rears?

I don't know how the bumper swaps break between the years but will give this a bump. Someone here knows and might see over the weekend.

Thanks for the bump, Bruiser. I'm hoping someone can tell me whether they've already tried it before I commit the cash (and the effort) at the pick-and-pull to buy one.

For the benefit of anyone doing a search in the future, YES this does work. Here's my writeup: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=641075
