DBC throttle cable in the 60-66 rigs
I have a 70's cable pedal assy kicking around. was gonna use that with the stock 2002 DBC throttle cable.
Is there a better way? What are ya'll doing? Pics would be killer. 1" of ice on top of 6" snow looks like another day of internet futzin and bench racin |

Re: DBC throttle cable in the 60-66 rigs
I am going to be doing this swap next month I hope. That is my exact plan on the throttle cable. I mounted up the newer pedal years ago when I switched to a cable throttle. I did the same thing when I did my son's truck ('82 model) and had no issues.

Re: DBC throttle cable in the 60-66 rigs
Does anybody have pics of DBC pedal install in a 60-66 truck? I am needing to install a new pedal for my swap.

If you're looking for an easier way, Locar makes a stainless braided cable/housing that works great
