62 axel redrill what brake drum?
I have read several threads about this, but haven't found anything that answers my specific questions.
I plan to have my 62 axels re-drilled for a five lug pattern. I understand that the hub will need to be turned down as well. The question is what brake drums should I use? I have some 73 drums that are five lug but they appear to be wider. Any help is appreciated.

Re: 62 axel redrill what brake drum?
I don't know what the brake offset is on the HO32, so I don't know if you can use the '71+ drums like can be done on the '63+ 12 bolts. The '73+ trucks had a brake option with 2.75" wide shoes. You will want drums for 2" wide shoes.

Thank you for the info Captain. I will look for some 2" 5 lug drums.
