hopping in reverse

Ok here is the problem im having.When in reverse, backing up and turning the wheel my 89 suburban 4x4 it seems to hop.It also happens going forward and turning some times.Sharp turns.Any ideas would be greatful.

Do you have a limited slip (posi) rear? Which wheel is hopping?

Not sure just bought the rig a few weeks ago and realy havent had time to check it out.I thought it might be caused by a locker to but like I said havent had the time to find out.
