For all you guys who have other parts/cars, I need a bracket for a 71 Chevelle SS with floor shift automatic, TH 350. Bracket mounts to the transmission pan bolts and holds the shifter cable in place. I do have a bracket from a BBC using a TH400 but the SBC 350 with the TH 350 uses a different style. Will buy or trade truck parts. Anyone?

I actually have two. They were left over from the 80's when I owned a 69 Camaro prior to converting to a Muncie 4-speed. I looked in a Year One catalog and found them and they get $19.95 for them (HR105). They show them working for a 69-72 TH350 Camaro so it should work for a Chevelle since the cable should be of similiar design. I would take $10 plus shipping if you want it. I will be heading out of town in the morning and won't get back till Wednesday so it might be then before I can mail it out. I can take PayPal or money order. I will have an internet connection there so I will be able to check in from time to time.

Here is a pic from the YearOne website. They now get $20.95 for it. My catalog is a couple of years old. They show it working for Chevelle's also. They also show it being new GM so they are probably still available from the dealer. I looked in my 69 Camaro Factory Assembly Manaual and could find only one page which showed the floor shift trans hookup and it appeared to be for a powerglide (from the bracket it showed) so I could not get a valid part # for you.
