1965 C20 finally resurrected!
New to the forum...
I just bought this bad boy 3 weeks ago and tonight, finally got it started tonight. Seized engine from sitting in a Texas field for 5 years...new battery, starter, fuel pump and hoses = back to life. Seriously pumped! It was pumping white smoke, but I think it was from the Marvel Oil I pumped in the cylinders. More to come! |

DP, Great looking truck. Can I ask how much it cost to rebuild your 283? I have the same and I like it...just don't know if I want rebuild it or buy a 350...

Re: 1965 C20 finally resurrected!
I definitely want to lower it 4/6. I also want to convert from 3/4 ton suspension to 1/2 ton. There is barely any wheel selections for 8 lug. I would love to get some chrome reverse wheels with white walls! Any feedback, thoughts are appreciated.

That's one sweet patina truck! I'm gonna run some marvel oil through mine as well. I hear that stuff works like a mystery.... Welcome aboard and what motor does it have? Sorry if I missed something. Edit. Never mind...i see you have a 283. lol
