headers that fit well on squarebodies with a Big block?

I've got a 427 BBC and a TH400 combo in my '84 C10 and was wondering who makes a quality fitting header for these trucks with BBC's?

No personal experience with this, but I have been looking into it for my 454/T400 combo square. Apparently the Doug Thorley (spelling?) Tri Y headers fit nicely and are good quality.

I have wondered the same for my '79 with a 454... I've got a set of Sanderson BB8 headers on order right now per the recommendation of bigblock73. I'll be more than happy to yank off these full length headers off my truck that I drag all over town! Haha!

what kind of long tubes do you have? do long tubes generally hang down low on these trucks?

i have a lowered square, and I am worried i may scrape long tubes, and that's kind of what i wanted.

those Sanderson headers do look very nice though!

I hope I'll feel a good difference in performance in my truck going from stock 2.5 inch exhaust with no cats to 3 inch with headers, kicked out behind both rear tires.

i've got the hooker super comps on my big block 77 crew, they fit nicely and tuck higher then the small block headers i had before the swap.

I've been running stan's headers for 5 years now, pricey but superb quality. Aside from the typical blueing they look brand new.

I used hooker supercomps made for a 69-72 Chevelle. they fit great and don't hang low.
