here is what i got, am i missing anything?
so i got the stock fuel lines from the 04 truck, fuel line kit, i got a quick disconnect i cut to get brazed to the sending unit, fuel filter (i didn't know i needed a tool to take it off dumb i know).
i was going to try and use the stock line as much as i could but its way too long, almost sure it was a quad cab, so now I'm going to run the nylon line anything else i need? i seen another member put some hose around the line to keep it from kinking and I'm sure heat im also open to ideas as well

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
Not sure exactly what youre asking, you could be missing any number of things. Do you have a beer assistant? If not, then you're missing a beer assistant. Seriously though, I would only try and use the hard line that runs down the back of the transmission (bottom line in last pic) and cut it at the flex point. From there, hook your nylon line to it with the kit you bought, it will probably be a compression fitting, run it back to the outlet on the filter, and cut the line you have in it, and hook the nylon with another compression fitting to ithat. That would take care of the lines from the filter to the engine. For the other side of the filter, the feed and return lines, you could use the compression fittings to hook the nylon lines to the sender, then put the quick disconnects on the other ends to hook to the filter. Not sure how they have you put the quick disconnects in the nylon line though. My kit has a tool that presses it in with a lot of force, but I see the kit you have shows that you don't need one?

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
Since you bought the kit with the compression fittings, why not use them instead of brazing quick disconnects on the lines? Also, not sure what you mean with the T fitting?

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
The t fitting is for the two lines at the sending unit

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
Ls1Nova is right, you need a beer assistant. LOL. I wished someone made a quick disconnect in the male style fitting so if I ever had to drop the tank I wouldn't have to deal with my hard fixed lines on the tank. I am going to do the next best thing and I believe it will work for your set up, disconnect at the fuel filter area and if I have to pull the tank just drop the lines at the fuel filter. If you could find a way to braze on the male end you cut off that might work. I never did find an adapter to take AN/JIC to quick disconnect. The Dorman kit I used had a gun in it to help seat the fittings into the line and I still needed hot water on the line to make it more flexible to fully seat the fittings.

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
So you saying to braze at the fuel sending unit too? I'm trying to tackle this today, then I'll mostly be waiting on my harness and putting it the rest of the way together

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
Well, you're getting there, I see you have your well endowed beer assistant in your drawing. I think I see what you're trying to do now. DON'T "T" the return and vent together though. The vent needs to be run to a vent. Also, if you want to use the quick disconnects, just braze them on the feed and return fittings of the sender. Also, if you put quick disconnects on both the line that goes down the back of the transmission, and also the fitting that goes to the filter, it will give you the ability to make the line what ever length you need.

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
If you had the time probably, I ended up just using compression fittings. I was trying to maintain a balance of ease of service and fewest amount of fittings. I will end up with a total amount of 7 connections in my fuel system, I have a return style fuel system. I was shooting for six but I got a kink in the line and safety comes first so I cut it. It worked out because I was able to route my lines down the passenger side of the transmission. I swapped the line mounts from the drivers side of the transmission to the passenger side and it looks damn near factory. I will insulate them with some heater hose as it works its way back to the tank. I also used some heater hose on the nylon lines from the tank to and over the frame rail to make the transition going forward. I felt the added protection of the heater hose will protect the line and reduce road hazards and heat protection. Ill post some pics in my LS build thread when I get some time.

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
Here is a picture of my tank right before I installed it. The vent is the center line and has a none pressure style hose on it. It needs to be by itself. The return on your vette filter should go right back to the return on the tank. Hope that helps.

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
So I'm on the right track, the brazing will work, I just need to vent the third line on the sending unit? That's the one that gets bolted to the bed right?

Re: here is what i got, am i missing anything?
On my system I am running it to a charcoal canister that will be in turn run to the vent solinoid on the engine. My fuel system is a non vented or sealed system. For emmision reasons. If you are not worried about emissions you might be able to plug the vent line and run a vented cap. I am not sure about this though maybe ls1nova will chime in.

If seen those cat shells with the pipe all the way through. Those are slick. Is your processor tuned yet? U still have to get mine done. I was thinking lt1swaps for mine. Good luck can't wait to see your progress.
