There is a "Chevrolet Nameplate" RPO as well; RPO X88. Cadillac is Z75. K

![]() He said the drip rails were not included initially because of aesthetics; they did not fit in well with the new "aerodynamic/rounded line" theme. It became readily apparent they were desperately needed and they were added as soon as practicable. K

Re: Question about two-tone paint on 1973 GMC
Keith, do you have a list of all the different Chevy trim (model) levels? I have a Scottsdale 20 that has the two tone but of different colored greens. I want to make it red and white with the roof white and would love to have the the badging that goes with 1974...
Also, was the white bumpers an option or did they come on specific models??? Thanks Slim

Re: Question about two-tone paint on 1973 GMC
Yes - go to the GM Heritage Center website and download the generic packet for the model year you are interested in -
http://www.gmheritagecenter.com/gm-h...tion-kits.html That will show all of the available options for that model year (including trim levels and content). White bumpers were base content, and chrome bumpers were available free flow or as part of a trim package. K

Re: Question about two-tone paint on 1973 GMC
Ok. Thanks Keith. I never have been a fan of the those stainless bands on the tailgate. They just look like something that should be on the later models. I guess black lettering it is. I figured I could make them gold (yellowish tan) like the side molding that I'm in search of...
