Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!
Here is mine, I bought it from the original owners son. I redid the interior, put the wheels on, and added power steering. Still has the original 283 and powerglide, for now anyway.

Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!
Here is my 65 C10. Pretty simple, 350 bored 30 over lil rv cam. TH400 switched the rear gears to 3.07. She gets along ok. Frenched 50 pontiac tail lights in bed. Setting up to tow a vintage travel trailer when we find one. Plan on doing edm drop arms to keep my stock wheels. C notch is next bags and edc to follow. Will be pink and white when i finally paint it!

@the astronaut - that is the gauge cluster I want. Did you restore that one yourself?

Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!
This just showed up at my house. My Dad bought it used in 1968. I plan to keep it as close to what it is right now. Dad put a 350 in it, I think I will replace it with a crate 350. Detail it out and put it on the road.

Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!
Here's mine. 1965 SWB Fleet. Some older pics from when I got it almost two years ago. Now has front disc conversion plus drop spindles and coils. Rear drop coils and just added front and rear sway bars (rides pretty good). Has an 230 I6 with four on the floor that is just starting to leak some oil. Have a rebuilt and resealed 230 in the garage going in this winter.

Re: Roll Call for the 1965s!
Thought I would revive this thread...if any of you that posted earlier have updated pics...show them!
Here is my 1965 long bed stepside. I have had it since last August. It currently has a 350 from a 1973 Camaro (at least what the last owner stated) and a 5 speed manual gear box with granny 1st gear. The current engine needs a rebuild I want to lose the granny gear so I am about to swap out to a new crate engine and new manual transmission. The previous owner put front discs and moved the gas tank to under the bed. Anyway, here it is before I start working on it..the body is in really good condition...a few small rust spots at the door front corners...it is going to be one of our daily drivers when we are finished...
