Paint the Frame same color ???

Should I paint my frame Red same color as the truck, which is Candy apple red with white top ,Or should I paint it black ??? Need some feedback ,,and some pictures If someone has some. Thanks Guys & Gals

in my opinion you need contrast.i would paint your frame satin black.

Since red is 1K dollars per gallon for base and to do a whole truck inside and out would take two gallons plus the candy unless your using HoK candy basecoat, I say go red if you can afford it. If its always garaged and only driven on sunny days then do the red on the frame, the cross members, control arms and core support but paint the springs black and all the nuts and bolts black as well.

Its your truck! You decide what you wanna do! But I would have to say Satin or High Gloss Black...or heck...do a double tone frame..you can do most of it black and some red if you wanna really get artistic.

Everyone does black. I would go with something else. Maybe silver powdercoat. Red might be too much red, black is boring, white to match the top would be wrong and black is boring. JMO

this was done in the 80's on a lot of street rods as the bodys were all color. no chrome. show cars probably still done. if you want it shinny, power coat it gloss black.
