Any Drone/UAV'ers here?
Since I do video work, like electronic toys, spend money like its on fire, and have plenty of free time....I kinda want a UAV. I've been looking at the DJI Phantom since I already own a servo gimbal and gopro's. Anyone here own a heli/quad/octocopter?

If this fits better in another section thats fine; not sure where you classify "gray-area-legal remote-controlled video surveillance devices" in terms of this forum

I wish I could help. I waiting to see what some of the answers are. Started to fly R/C decades ago. Now I've got enough land to fly on....

Re: Any Drone/UAV'ers here?
I'm surprised no one on here has one of these things. Seems like another "mechanical" toy the RC crew would like.
I guess I'll post up here when I get my choices figured out. Sounds like the DJI Phantom is the easiest solution, since I already have a robotic camera gimble to mount to it.
