How long have you had your truck?
Just curious. I've had mine for 22 years. Bought it in Germany in 1982 from another GI. Are there any 1 owners out there?

Had mine for about 3 1/2 years now. I'm gonna guess you have most of us beat. Was your truck actually in Germany when you bought it in 1982?

I bought my 67 in 1981, I drove it for 16 years 2 tranny's 3 engines, about 20,000 a year plus.I tore the engine down for another rebuild and while it was apart before I had machine work done I found my 68 for about the price of an engine.I bought it in 97 and haven't got to start back on the 67 yet.
If I had more places to put stuff I would probably have a couple more and some other projects too. Mrs.Panel says I'm eat up with old the car bug.

I spent 9 years in Germany you could really get some good deals from homeward bound GI's. I have had my flatbed 69 since 96.
Got the two 72's last year.

I got my first truck a little over 3 years ago, and that was it, I've been hooked ever since. At this point I think I can still count all the trucks I have with just my fingers whether they are parts or being restored.

Jack, Yeah it was there in Germany when I bought it. I drove it all over Europe, and it was unusual bacuase there were not many trucks over there. Their version of a truck is a lot differnet looking than ours.

My parents bought the '68 from a guy in 1977. He ordered it from the dealer with all the options, including dual saddle tanks, camper mirrors, and I think even the camper! The only thing I think he didn't option was the big block So my family are the second owners.
