Custom one off touches on square bodys

Looking to see if anybody has some custom one off touches on their square. I don't mean something like changing over the dash to another dash or buying universal parts and adding them on. I mean has anybody done some bad a**, hand made, one off touches?

Kinda thinking about doing a "wide body" look on my truck, meaning wide both front and rear wheel wells and giving it the wide body look. Also considering some custom hood ideas not just a cowl either. Door handles from a newer style truck ( Preferably Chevy ) custom grilles and headlights. stuff like that.

I've seen some pretty awesome stuff on other rides but squares that are custom modded out are RARE. If you got one or found one let's see it!

Please 73-87 ONLY!

Here are some of what I found, as you can see now body mods :
Freaking killer interior!!!

Re: Custom one off touches on square bodys

Here's one I spotted at a local car show a few years ago. Sorry, pics aren't the greatest (cheap camera).

They made the back end look like a 1960 Impala:

That thing is wicked!! I like the purple color. Curious as to why make it so 1 off and custom, but go with stock 90's wheels...

The thing about custom stuff is its to the owner's tastes and it is the policy of this board that its cool to not like something but its not cool to bash it... consider all posters past and future warned

I haven't seen it again since and didn't talk with the owner to know for sure ... but I'm guessing it might have still been a work in progress with lowered suspension and custom wheels being in the future plans. The car show where I snapped those pics usually has some "under construction" entries and that might have been one of them.

Yeah, it certainly is different. It's not exactly my cup of tea either but I thought it was kind of neat how they managed to blend the back of a 60's car into an 80's truck.

The more I look at this actually... the more I'm impressed by the work that has been done. But there a few things that I would correct, one I would have done a completely different bumper on the front probably off the impala, two move the rear bumper lower down, three had some custom chrome trim made just to give it a better look like the impala has and lastly there's a curve in the "wing" on the sides of the truck vertically at that so I would have straightened it out. BUT, that would have taken FOREVER!!!!!! hahaha still not my tastes but I applaud whoever did it! one last thing, Would've started with a blazer without the top

I kind of like the SD lights, but the rest is too over the top for me.
