Re: Mip???
Can you please tell us the pros and cons of this item? What did you not like about this product if any?
I wonder how it performs in the sun and will it get super hot when the top is off and exposed to direct sunlight? Is it flexible like rubber and how does it stay down (glue maybe?)? Does it get scratched easy? Does it clean easy? Is it rugged or do you need to be careful and take care of it? Was the install easy and does it cover the whole floor or only in some areas? Your response and time is greatly appreciated, your answers will be the final factor in me ordering it. Thanks brother! |

Re: Mip???
I have yet to find any cons on my mat ,it has not gotten scratched yet but I have only been driving it the last 3 weeks , I have not cleaned it yet but looks like it will clean up nicely ,I will know real soon as a young couple are using my truck in their wedding next week . It does appear to be quite flexible once installed and was NOT glued down. The shop that did my frame off installed it and said it was not the most fun thing they have ever done ,they also put down the stickdown foil type insulation under it. I like it much better than carpet or the cheap rubber mats .I would use it again .I dont remember if I bought it at LMC or elsewhere though. I hope this info helps .

Re: Mip???
I heard someone on this forum complain about the fitment of the full mat? i was about to buy one but had second thoughts, my original rear mat is still in okay shape but my front mat was trashed and i threw it out. Hey Flashed, Do you have any photos of this mat installed?

Re: Mip???
Thanks flashed...
As noted, the pictures below are not of my truck. They have been provided by flash so the forum can see what the MIP looks like installed... Looks like a good product! |
