'64 with '82 disc brake front end parts question

Changed my ' 64 over to disc brakes . Have the spindles an brakes setup now. Question is on steering linkage have power steering box an all steering linkage out of ' 82 style . Idler arm is different on '82 . So will '64 idler arm work ? Or what's the answer on this conversion. ? Thanks

You use the later model idler arm too. Bolt it to the center link than level and align the center link and mark and drill the holes in the frame to bolt the idler arm in place.

Here is a picture of the idler arm mounted on my 63 (with 84 suspension).
