1973-74 GMC Grille with freshly powder coated brackets

This grill is in good shape and has been repainted. Letters look nice with no noticeable pitting. Grille has some scratches in the lower lip that were painted over. Not sure why these weren't fixed before the grill was painted considering the care they took at masking it off. The full set of brackets has been powder coated satin black and looks great. All and all this is in above average driver's condition with no cracks. Want $100 for everything not including shipping.

If you're willing to separate let me know. I'd buy it all if it were a Chevy grille though. I do still need the brackets and hood latch.

I have a 73 Chevy grille in the same condition that I would sell for the same price with brackets. I will PM you with my email address.

Re: 1973-74 GMC Grille with freshly powder coated brackets

There is not going to be any bidding on this. The listed price is my price. I know I could get more if I wanted for it. It won't be going up. I am really not sure how to handle this without upsetting anyone. According to the rules the first person that says they will take it should get it. Along those lines Parrisc19844x4_468 would get it as he is the only one that physically said he would take it. Does this sound like it is fair?

Wow, too cheap. You guys got a steal. Brackets alone would cost that.

Ya, I try and list stuff on here cheaper than I would put it on Ebay. I just have too many grilles!

Re: 1973-74 GMC Grille with freshly powder coated brackets

It is really weird how long these have taken to sell. I have seen the brackets alone sell for $150 and they weren't even powder coated like mine!

Tell me about this too many grilles problem. Do you have another set of brackets like you posted in this thread? If you do, let me be the FIRST to say I WANT THEM PLEASE.

I don't think I have any other GMC bracket sets only Chevy sets but I will take a look.

Is there a difference between the chevy and gmc brackets themselves?

No difference other than GMCs have 2 extra inner brackets

Re: 1973-74 GMC Grille with freshly powder coated brackets

The two inner brackets for the 73-74 GMC are specific to those years. Unfortunately for me, when I was young and dumb, I took them out to swap over to a tube grille. Now I want to put it back although you don't need them but I wanted to put them in because I am doing a full resto...

So if anyone comes across a pair they don't need keep me in mind please

It looks to me the chevy grille has the same attachment points as the gmc grille.
