1949 chevy pickup original steering colum shifter
I want to bolt my original shifter (3 on a tree)to my steering colum. What is the size of bolt that I need to look for?

I'm thinking those use a countersunk machine screw but am not sure of the size.

Re: 1949 chevy pickup original steering colum shifter
At ACE they will most likely be in the little pull out boxes above the bolt and screw bins.e
If you have a Fasteners store close by they will have them or be able to get them and they don't whine about selling small quantities like some of the other nut and bolt stores do. Look for oval head countersunk machine screws as they have the slightly rounded heads.
